For their 2022 renewal, licensees are expected to fulfill their CME/CE requirements in full and these hours must be documented in a CE Broker transcript. As stated in prior email blasts, we have been phasing in the requirements for most practitioners 2 hours/month when their renewal is due for 2021.Įffective January 2022, almost all LSBME licensees (except Acupuncture and Physician Assistant categories) are required to use CE Broker to track their CME/CE. However, any CE/CME that you did take during 2020 that occurs in a 12 month period before your 2021 renewal may be counted toward the 2021 requirement. Because the board suspended the requirement for CE/CME for 2020, no one will be audited for that year. Since January of 2021, we have asked our licensees to use an electronic continuing education tracker, CE Broker, to track their annual hours of continuing education. ****We DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS (unless you erroneously make multiple payments) We DO NOT accept bulk checks to pay for multiple applicants. We DO NOT accept credit card payments over the phone. You must be within 8 weeks of your current expiration date in order to renew.įees must be paid via credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover only) if applying online.įees must be paid via Personal check/money order if sending in a paper application.
